My month

It's been awhile so I thought I'd come here and update you all. December became a busier than usual month. We had our annual Christmas party at the beginning and then it just seemed that life got busier. Trying to get the goodies made, goodie plates loaded and delivered and cards written and sent out. Started on all of this at the beginning and still barely just made it.

I was in charge of the Christmas program in Sacrament. That was a job just trying to coordinate with everyone involved.

Then Christmas shopping began and that was fun. I did a little bit with a friend, but dh and I also did some together. Then he took some Mondays off and just went all day shopping. We did good, but there really didn't seem to be much time to rest. Christmas day I settled a little bit, but then found chores to do and before I knew it the day was over.

The following Mon dh and I went out and purchased one last gift that we were unable to get before hand. We got a 41" big screen tv. Very nice! It goes nice with the Wii we purchased. I've gotten sore muscles from playing the games lol.

So the rest of the month was now spent trying to relax, but found ourselves getting the 2 older kids ready to get braces. Between regular dental visits and ortho we were gone at least once a week besides our regular outings. Robert was able to get his, but it was discovered that Natasha has a cavity so she has to wait a few weeks. It will get done just not yet.

So now Christmas is put away for next time. The house is mostly vacuumed and here I sit trying to figure out what to fix for dinner. Hmmm

I got dinner covered - want some! I made three dinners - two of which were a double batch so that I could send them with dh and ds - who are going to a tournament. So now I have dinners for everyone for the whole weekend! Whoo hooo - all I have to do is warm up stuff. Very cool - no real cooking for a few days. I am thrilled.

I am sad that Christmas is over with, oh yes. Christmas and Easter are my favorites. But the chaos(unfortunately) that goes with it is nuts. I keep trying to tone things down, but never seems to happen.

Yes, big screen is nice. Great for playing the Wii on. :)
