2 days worth of posting

Well, I'm a bit behind in posting, so while I have a moment I'll see what I can do.

Mon morning dh wanted to leave early so he could releave one of his co-workers who had been working all night. So we arrived at 7:30 am. Got home around 8 and got the girls up. Did our devotional and then got the books ready to go. Of course, with all things when we're not in a hurry, the kids decided that they would be slow about things. So instead of leaving around 10:30 or even 11, we didn't leave until 11:30 ARGHH!!! I told the kids I didn't want to hear anything about them being hungry until 12:30 or 1.

Finally arrived at the library did our stuff and headed home around 1:30. Not bad considering we left late. Picked up lunch and headed home. After lunch I decided we were going to return some of dh's bday gifts that he wasn't in need of and on our way we ran into a brief snow storm. At first we all thought it was sand being thrown around since we were just passing a construction site. Then we realized it was snow. Oh my!

Finished our shopping at Walmart then headed home. Around 4pm called dh to see if he was ready. Not yet. Finally around 6pm dd N and I headed out while dd S and ds R stayed home. Good thing they stayed because it was a long drive. We hit some icy patches on the way, so we drove rather slowly. Finally made it out of our town and headed to dh's work. Main roads were fine, but then we hit town and found a whole stretch of road that was icy. We ended up having to turn around and go another route since my normal route was blocked with an accident that was showing no signs of clearing up.

Picked up dh then to Aldi's for a quick pick up of milk and other essential items. Arrived home around 7:30. Had a quiet evening and then sent the kids to bed. Long day.

I miss the snow, but at the same time I don't. The driving in it...that can stay up north. LOL Then again, I would probably be safer on the roads there during a snow storm than if there were one here. LOL
Sounds like you had a very busy weekend! Sometimes they are nice but there are the times when a slow one is appreciated. :)
Have a great Thursday!!
Blessings,
Vania

For the most part, I love the snow as well. As long as I don't have to shovel it much or drive in it. Unfortunately, I have to do both lol.
