Girls' camp

This week my oldest dd Natasha and her dad are at girls' camp till Fri. It's been a crazy couple of days getting her ready and the excitement she has had waiting. Now it's here and they're gone and there is an emptiness in the house. I'm doing the best that I can to ignore it because otherwise I would be in tears, well I was for a few min this morning. Thankfully I was able to settle down and get on with things. Now I'm fine, just missing them.

I also mentioned dh was there. For LDS girls' camp, they require 2 priesthood holders at the camp at all times. Dh and I figured that since he spent 5 yrs helping out with scout camp, now it's time to help out with the girls. The one good thing for me is I don't have to cook unless I want to. We can do out and not have to be home at any certain time. So there is a bright side to it.

So now we just relax and enjoy the time we have and then look forward to the stories they come home to tell us.

Hi Karie! I sure hope Natasha enjoys her time at camp and that you will enjoy the time at home not having to cook. =)
Blessings,
Vania

Hey Vania! So far I'm sure she is. Although now they're probably getting hit with rain like we are. We've been getting dumped on off and on since last night around 1am. Need a break.

Definitely having fun not cooking as much. :)
