This morning we did our devotional, then while Robert(ds) played with Sarah(youngest dd), I helped Natasha(oldest dd) with her talk for church on Sunday. By the time we were done it was 11:30. It's quite a feat sometimes to get that type of thing done, but it's done. Then the girls went off and played while Robert did a little more on the computer and I started on the basement. We need to get one wall emptied so we can put the boxes from the garage down there. Finally finished the basement around 1:30.
By 2:30 we were outside hauling the boxes down stairs. Robert was so excited to see ALL the many boxes of books we have. Probably 10 or more. Although by the time he was done taking them down the stairs he was begging me NOT to have any more lol. But we did accomplish a lot in the garage. 90% of the boxes are in the house. We still need to arrange things better in the garage, but it took us till 4pm just doing the boxes. And Robert still had to get ready for a sleep over (with a church meeting). I'm glad that parts over with. We found 2 boxes that had been chewed into and all the box shavings around it. As far as I can tell, nothing is ruined, but we still have to go through it.
In the meantime the boxes are in the house so that when dh has the time and energy he can go through them at leisure. So now I sit here taking a quick break from face book with hands tired and feet sore, but knowing him and I did well and did the hard part that would have made dh's back really bad.
