A good day

The day started out rainy and gloomy, but by 1ish, as I was putting away laundry, I saw this bright glow outside. Suddenly(seriously)realizing it was the sun lol. Finished the laundry then went outside to enjoy. Boy was it muggy, but sunny. I had to go change my sweater to a short sleeved shirt and capris.

One incident this morning was dh and I at different computers around 8ish. We suddenly hear the screen door making noises and glanced at each other curious. I decide to get up and see and then realize that ds is using his key to get him. He had gone on a scout camp out the night before and they had planned on going in the boat the next day. Well, due to the rain(don't ask) they choose to come home. Oh well, at least he got to camp out.

So we return to the afternoon time. The girls and I are outside enjoying the weather. Dh decides he's going to check the lawnmower and get it ready to use. Our lawn needed it really bad. It was about 8" high. Well, due to the rain and then the mugginess, the mosquitoes and other bugs were out. Dh finally gave in and went back in. The girls decided to go in as well. I went in to get some lunch and get some new laundry washed.

Eventually the weather settled and the bugs were gone. The girls and I went outside for a bit. Dh took ds to a friends' eagle court of honor then went and got gas for the lawn mower. Once home we got the lawn cleared of sticks and lawn ornments. Mosquitoes started coming out, but not as bad as earlier.

Evening time comes and it's time to settle the kids down. Get dd S bath while ddN cleans up her room a bit. Looks much better. Quiet time for 45 min then bedtime. Hope tomorrow is just as nice.
