Young Women's Conference

I just arrived home from having been to this wonderful conference with my 12dd. I was hesistant due to the weather that is being predicted, but went anyway. We arrived a bit late but they hadn't started yet. So we ventured toward the table where the sisters from our ward were at. Eventually the dinner started and we enjoyed our sisterhood with love and laughter. Afterwards we listened to a conference via satellite of the Young Women's General Pres and other speakers. It was wonderful.

After it was over with we headed to our car. What we found was icy and slushy sidewalks and ice covered windows. Thankfully I had my mittens still in my coat and a scraper in the car. In 10 min time we were thawed out enough to head home. I had called home to let them know we were on our way. Roads were slushy, but pretty much ok. Just glad to be home and off the roads.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Wow 7 blogs? I had a hard time choosing which one to read. :-) I'll be back again.

Much love from NJ,

Thanks Shauna, I am also. I will be spending Sunday at home due to my youngest has developed a cough this past week and even though she's probably not contagious, the cough sounds pretty bad.

... thanks. They were telling us we would receive up to 6 inches this morning. Right now we have 2 inches and it's almost 8. Yeah, I do believe it says spring on the calendar lol.
