A nice Sunday

I'm sitting here in the quiet of the evening. My kids are all in bed and the girls are asleep. Ds R is probably still listening to his mp3 player. That's ok he is 15. Dh has gone up to bed to read for awhile and I'm relaxing online. The day has been good, which is always nice for a Sunday.

This morning I got up at 5:30 to shower and get ready for church. Our meeting starts at 9am, but dh has a meeting at 8, so we have to leave by around 7:40am. Proceeded to get the rest of the family up and going. Left by 7:40 and arrived a few min before meeting time. I'm in charge of the church program so I head to the library to make copies while the 2 oldest watch the 5yr(she's still in pj's). After getting her dressed, we head back to the foyer and start folding programs. Then head into the chapel for church to start. It's nice and quiet for awhile.

Church eventually starts and is nice. We have 2 young couples with small children sitting in front of us. The closest couple's children keep looking at us, smile and then drop a toy lol. Too funny. The dad is dh's 1st Counselor in the Elder's Quorum pres. Very nice family. The 2nd couple in the next row up is also a good family. Their dh just happens to be my dh's 2nd counselor lol. So how did that happen.

Went to all our meetings, then went to wait on dh for his after church meeting. Turns out it's cancelled so we head home. After lunch the girls go off and play. Ds and dh do some extra church stuff while I snooze on the couch. I was very tired. Had a hard time getting to sleep, and when I finally did, it was 1am. So needless to say I needed the nap.

Dinner finally around 5:30 and sat around relaxing. The rest of the evening was spent with me trying to clean up a bit in the kitchen, and still keep an eye on the girls. They kept wanting to get silly, but it's 7pm. Not what I want. Finally 8pm comes and it's time to head the kids to bed. Lights out at 9pm. So now I sit here kind of goofing around online. But it's nice to have it quiet. ahhhh :)

I was really happy to see that Land of the Lost is being re-made. My kids think I've lost my mind! LOL! Those sleestaks used to freak me out!

Again, thanks for coming by! It's always nice to meet new bloggy buddies!
