Snow day for lots

We've woken up to a few inches of snow. A lot of schools are closed. Luckily we didn't get as much snow as they were predicting, but it's hard to know exactly how much once it actually gets here. We got up this morning to possibly have ds head to seminary, but none to our surprise several schools(including the teacher's kids) was closed. Ds is not happy since he loves going. Thank goodness he is a morning person like his mom and doesn't mind getting up at 5:30 for his 6am class.

As I sit here and type I hear the snow blower motor working furiously to clear the snow away. Apparently it's pretty wet, which means that even with just a few inches, it's still heavy and hard to clear. Poor ds came in after being out for 15 min and said his back was sore. Kid, this is just the beginning. :)

Hello!! Your blog is so neat!!!
I am accepting submissions for an LDS based homeschool book that I will be
publishing next year! If you are interested in adding to it, check out
www.ldshomeschoolbook.blogspot.com or email me at ldshomeschoolbook@gmail.com
Im looking for a day in the life of.... type submissions, or why you
personally chose to homeschool your family, etc. Also any resources that
can be included in the resource section! ;)
Im hoping to weed through them from now until February, choose what Im
going to include, then get payment out to those who will be included,
then have the book finished and published by the end of March!!!
Can't wait!!! We need a good lds based homeschool book! I havent
found any books on it! If you know of any, let me know, I really want
to read them!!! Thanks! Hope you are having a wonderful
Christmas season! We have been focusing on Christ and service this
month and it has been wonderful!
With Love,
Jaelle

Isn't the snow fun Karie? And just in time for Christmas. My kids are loving it.

We were pounded here in Madison with 13+ inches. My children wanted to know if they could have a "snowday" like their dad and get out of work too. (Mike spent half the day plowing through snow it seemed.) - Jenny

Thanks to you all for your comments. Thankfully we only got 7". Now you say thankfully. Like my friend below said in Madison, they received over a ft of snow. And this was wet stuff.

Jaelle, thanks for finding my blog and posting. I will check out your book and see what I can do.

Mommyx12 as long as I'm not shoveling, no problem lol Although I would have preferred it to be a bit close to Christmas. :)

Thanks Elaine :)

Jenny, poor Mike. Sometimes it seems that you should invest in a small snow plow. But then once you would, you probably wouldn't get any more for awhile. I feel for him.
