Guess it's not over yet

Dh was complaining on Mon evening that his stomach was a bit blech. Then life went on and nothing else was said. This afternoon I just happened to catch an email from him to his co-workers and me stating he felt like crap and was headed home. Oh boy! So the kids and I scrambled to get a bit of clean up done before he would come home. Once home he walked in and looked ok. We chatted for a bit and it seems he might have what I had which was diarreah. But to make things even more exciting, he's got a bit of a fever which I didn't have. So we'll see how he is tomorrow.

Ds was worried that he would hear his dad get sick and then make him feel sick. Poor ds is so very sensitive. Always has been. So I allowed him to close his door once he went up to bed. Luckily nothing yet, but dh wishes something would happen.

At least we had another relatively nice day. Temps were about 10 degrees cooler, but the kids still went out and played. Nice to get out again. I do know that winter is still abounding and isn't about to leave yet. However, I choose to enjoy the bits of spring we're getting and just go about life.

Hope everyone else is dealing with winter ok.

Oh Karie, I hope you get to the end of this stuff soon. I would be crazy by now.

All I could do was sigh. Thankfully with him we just leave him alone. He likes to be left alone and not bothered, which is just fine with me. I do, occassionally, go check on him, but that's about it.

Hey Karie!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I hope you can find the time to come back again!
Good luck with homeschooling! I come from a family of eight kids and my mom homeschooled all of us at one point or another. I personally was homeschooled from fourth grade clear through high school.
I hope your kids are feeling better! We just got over the bug ourselves!

Serene, you are welcome. I hope to go back again.

We love homeschooling. It's what seems best for our family. That is neat about you.

My kids and I seem to be over it, but dh seems to get it just a bit more than normal and it hangs on a bit. But we'll manage.

Thanks
